System Requirements

Prior to installing Custom Vantage Office®;, your Server and Workstations must meet these requirements.
For best performance of Custom Vantage Office®;, Connectweb Technologies strongly recommends exceeding these requirements.
 
Workstation Requirements

Hardware Minimum Requirements

  • 2GHz Intel or AMD Processor (4 GHz or faster recommended)
  • 8GB of RAM or greater (16 GB recommended)
  • Approximately 750 MB of available hard-disk space (1GB available space recommended)
  • DVD-ROM drive (If installing from DVD)
  • Mouse or compatible pointing Device
  • Super VGA (1,024x768) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
  • 100/1000 Gigabit LAN 

 
Software Minimum Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 10 or higher
  • CorelDraw 2020 full version or higher (student versions are not compatible)
    CorelDraw X7 through 2018 versions may have limited feature support
  • .NET Framework 4.8
  • Full-time internet connection

 

Server Requirements

Hardware Minimum Requirements

  • Server with a 4 GHz / 4 core processor required; support for up to four processors on one server)
  • 16 GB of RAM required; (24 GB recommended)
  • 1 TB of available hard-disk space (RAID 10 highly recommended)
  • DVD-ROM drive (If installing from DVD)
  • VGA or hardware that supports console redirection required; Super VGA supporting 1024 x 600 or higher-resolution monitor recommended
  • 100/1000 Gigabit LAN

Software Minimum Requirements

  • Windows 2016 Server or higher, (Windows 10 or higher for single user)
  • .NET Framework 4.8
  • SQL Server 2012 Express Edition or greater.
    (For more than 2 users we recommend a dedicated server with a full version of MS SQL Server 2008 or higher)

 

Multiple Locations

Remote Users

  • Either a dedicated VPN connection or a remote control application such as Support4MeNow.com
    A remote control application will deliver faster performance than a vpn connection because of the proximity to the actual database and is therefore recommended for optimal performance.
  • Storage space available via the same UNC path for all users regardless of location.
  • High speed asynchronous (same speed for upload and download) internet service on both ends of the vpn connection.
